Making A Microphone With Pencil Needles

This Is How A Mic Works

Materials required are ~

1 - Wires 2 - Some Graphite Needles 3 - Empty Match Box 4 -Wires

How to make ?

1 - Make two consecutive holes at the both side of the matchbox. 

2 - Put the needles in the holes as shown in the figure. 

3 - Place a small needle freely on the both needles as shown in the figure. 

4 - Connect the wires to the needles AND YOUR MICROPHONE IS READY. 

How does it works ?

- When the sound wave hits the free needle it starts vibrating, the two two fixed needles acts as electrodes and makes changes in the electrical resistance between them.
